 Dwight Thompson started his transportation career as a New York City transit operator in 1999. In 2020, following the COVID-19 pandemic, he set out on his own to start his first small transit company: Palace NYC, providing shuttle service to families visiting their incarcerated loved ones in prisons upstate New York. That was just the beginning. One year later, Dwight, lovingly called Prince, pooled his resources and opened a larger transportation service operating his own independent bus line in Raleigh North Carolina in the spring of 2021. 

Palace Tours LLC provides service in and around the New York area. With a long history of public transit, school trips and charter services, we pride ourselves on maintaining careful customer relationship while providing safe and enjoyable tours. Our range of destinations include the Bronx Zoo, the Hamptons, Atlantic City and other neighboring casinos, the Catskills, Six Flags, Splish Splash, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. We cater to   private groups, including school field trips, corporate events, weddings and airport service.
